In early May, from the 2nd to the 3rd, a group of 16 patent examiners from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) visited Stanford University School of Medicine (California, USA) to explore the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical imaging. The program, spanning over two days, focused on various topics related to medical imaging diagnostics and involved representatives from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and leading companies in the field.
VinBrain took pride in being the sole representative from Vietnam invited by Stanford University to participate in this event, standing alongside world-leading companies in AI for Medical Imaging, such as Lunit, CARPL.ai, Clairity, and Whiterabbit.ai.
On behalf of VinBrain, CEO Truong Quoc Hung has contributed to the presentation session addressing persisting issues within the global healthcare system. Among these concerns were shortages of diagnostic imaging doctors leading to healthcare facility overload and challenges in controlling global health threats like pulmonary tuberculosis and cancer. During the presentation, he also shared the positive values VinBrain's solution, DrAid™, brings to solving these complex issues.
With the AI assistant product for image diagnostics, DrAid™, VinBrain pioneers the use of artificial intelligence in the screening process, holding two recognized patents in the US and 13 accepted patents in Vietnam. VinBrain stands shoulder to shoulder with leading companies in the field, showcasing its team's research and development capabilities to create a more impactful influence on global healthcare systems collectively.
