VINBRAIN DRAID FOR COVID-19 WON GOLD AWARD AT ASEAN ICT AWARDS

At the AICTA final round, which took place on December 14, 2021, VinBrain's DrAid for COVID-19 made a strong impression and officially won the Gold Award in the CSR category.

Being trained with big data sources (21.421 chest X-ray images of COVID-19 patients and 118,018 standard chest X-ray images), DrAid is capable of comprehensively solving the COVID-19 problem from diagnostic support to treatment prognosis with high accuracy (over 90%).

After nearly half a year of official implementation, DrAid has supported more than 11,000 COVID-19 patients across Vietnam, helping to reduce the risk of community infection and mortality.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen - AICTA final judge from Vietnam commented: “The product demonstrates VinBrain's high responsibility in researching and appling new technology trends such as AII, Big Data and image data processing to support doctors in solving one of humanity's challenges - the COVID-19 pandemic."
