In the first months of 2024, the digital technology business community received good news when 4 products won ASEAN Digital Awards 2024. The event marked a series of activities to support Vietnamese digital technology businesses reaching out to foreign markets.

Market expectations in the region

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), for the first time Vietnam won the leading position in the number of gold medals at the ASEAN Digital Awards 2024 (ADA 2024) held in Singapore. In the 6 categories of ADA 2024, Vietnam received 2 Gold awards and 2 Silver awards in 3 categories Digital Content, Digital Inclusion and Digital Innovation.

Talking to News reporters, Mr. Truong Quoc Hung, Founder and General Director of VinBrain said: "Not betraying the trust of the Ministry of Information and Communications, VinBrain has won the Gold award for the second time at the ASEAN Digital Awards." with artificial intelligence solutions. This year, DrAid™ CT Liver Cancer is one of the rare artificial intelligence products in the region and the world that takes the lead in solving the problem of liver cancer. This victory also affirms that the Vietnamese people's capacity, creativity, and ability to master new technology are not inferior to any other country in the region. In addition, VinBrain is also the only unit in Vietnam to win the gold award twice since this award was established in 2013 until now. This is also an important step to attract attention and spread international trust in medical technology products originating from Vietnam, and is a bridge for VinBrain to expand its presence in Vietnam. Southeast Asian market from now until the end of 2024.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, Director of VioEdu Online Education System said: "This is the first year VioEdu participated and won an award at the ASEAN Digital Awards. The goal of this award is to find and honor IT initiatives with high practical application that help bring value to the community, have the ability to develop sustainably and contribute to economic development in developing countries. ASEAN countries. The award is especially meaningful for businesses in promoting and further improving, aiming to promote digital education in the country, while creating momentum to "export" products to international markets." .

"In response to the program "Vietnamese digital technology enterprises going to the world" - launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications, with guidance and close companionship from the Ministry, for more than 6 months from the time of product selection, solutions, from filing documents to presenting at the Final round, VioEdu online education solution has been strengthened in its capacity and mission. VioEdu has a strong platform and content is intelligently built according to knowledge graphs, easily scalable horizontally. Along with the creative approach and high application values that technology brings to users, the system quickly attracts a large number of users, on average 4-6 million new accounts per year", Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc shared.

Mr. Truong Quoc Hung also said that Vietnamese businesses can completely reach out to the world, especially following the trend of the exploding artificial intelligence (AI) revolution. However, investing in technology is a long-term investment. Especially AI in healthcare, is very expensive. State management agencies play a particularly important role to guide, introduce and promote trade exchange opportunities, help spread and bring Vietnamese technology products internationally, encourage and promote High-quality foreign investment funds cooperate with Vietnamese digital technology enterprises. This not only enhances the reputation of Vietnamese businesses when there is a State agency to ensure and connect, but also speeds up and expands investment opportunities for businesses with digital products. global progress and pioneering.
